About the role

  • Job Description: Test Engineer for automated production test systems for next generation of silicon photonics products used in data center interconnect.
  • Responsible for creating highly efficient and effective hardware and software for product compliance testing and defect detection.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop automated product testing systems in a team environment in close collaboration with product developers and manufacturing test engineers
  • Develop optimized hardware configurations for compliance testing and defect detection
  • Build test scripts, data acquisition modules and GUI interfaces executing at the highest efficiency for optimum capital utilization
  • Assist with product characterization, design validation, and production yield improvement activities
  • All subject to relevant plan documents and award agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science with 8+ years relevant industry or a master's degree in engineering or computer science with 6+ years relevant industry experience
  • Experience and proficiency in coding in Python, C++ and C# including multi-threaded software and GUI development

Nice to have

  • Experience with firmware/microcoding preferred
  • Experience in relational database interfaces such as Oracle preferred
  • Experience in statistical analysis techniques, JMP software, and process control preferred

Compensation

  • The annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00
