Responsibilities
- Monitor daily field operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies Perform regular tunnel and surface inspections, including pre-shift walkthroughs, equipment checks, air quality sampling, and confined space protocols Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventative action implementation Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and toolbox talks with crews Maintain EHS documentation, training records, and regulatory reports Support emergency response preparedness and training exercises Collaborate with superintendents, miners, and technicians to identify and mitigate job-specific risks
- We're looking for an EHS team member who can keep up with the pace of tunneling operations and proactively manage risk in a high-pressure, underground environment.
- This role supports a hard rock Main Beam TBM project and requires a sharp, field-first safety mindset.
