About the role
- We are looking for a seasoned Principal Product Manager to help accelerate Socure's emerging products across fraud, identity, and payments.
- The initial focus will be Account Intelligence, with the opportunity to expand into other consortium-powered products as the portfolio evolves.
- This is a unique opportunity to shape and scale products in a complex, data-intensive space.
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead new product opportunities from early customer discovery through launch, adoption, and scale.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and alternatives, using those insights to shape product priorities and differentiation.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science to translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, success metrics, and scalable solutions.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and Operations.
- Own the business performance of the product, including adoption, pricing, costs, revenue, and profitability.
- Drive organizational alignment and secure support for major product investments and long-term initiatives.

Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex products or product portfolios.
- Experience working closely with Engineering and Data Science on data-intensive, API, platform, or AI/ML-powered products.
- Ability to operate with ownership and urgency in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Experience in payments, bank-account verification, fraud, identity, risk, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience launching products internationally or working across multiple markets and regulatory environments.
- Experience with SQL, analytics tools, experimentation, or model-performance measurement.
- Advanced degree in a business, technical, or analytical discipline.
- Experience defining multi-year product strategies and translating them into actionable roadmaps that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead products from early-stage development through commercialization and scale.
- Strong customer orientation, with experience building direct relationships and using customer insights to guide product decisions.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to use data to prioritize investments, build business cases, and evaluate trade-offs.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting product strategy and priorities to executive audiences.
- Experience building products that combine proprietary, partner, customer-contributed, or consortium data.
- Familiarity with network effects, data partnerships, or products whose value increases as participation and data coverage grow.
