About the role

  • The primary role of an ELA teacher is responsible for teaching language skills to their students, including the basics like reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Planning and implementing class lessons that ensure the attainment of state learning standards and the additional specific grade-by-grade learning standards.

  • CANO will strive for high academic performance at all our schools while securing partnerships and programming that use community assets to support our schools and students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Strong knowledge of Tier!
  • Prepare students adequately for all required assessments.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the workday.
