About the role

  • At Verkada, our business development is different.
  • This allows our sales reps to focus on real conversations with high-level prospects rather than spend hours trying to get a hold of them.
  • Each rep is able to set more than 80-100 demos/month (@ ~40% conversion to opportunities).

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to your assigned Account Executives
  • Identify pre-selected insights and metrics applicable to the leads you generate

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Passionate, high energy, and you enjoy being challenged
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to learn and follow standardized processes in a fast-paced sales organization
  • No prior sales experience is required, but you must have the ambition and desire to grow and advance in a sales career
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Follow scripted materials to seamlessly demonstrate product expertise when connecting with clientele
  • You must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role, at this time.

Nice to have

  • 1+ year of experience in Sales or Business Development
