About the role
- Reporting to the Sector Manager, this position requires strong technical expertise, proven project management experience, and an in-depth understanding of the regional roadway and bridge markets.
- Conduct technical analyses and quality reviews consistent with TYLin's quality assurance standards.
- Participate in project performance reviews, forecasting, and risk assessments.
Responsibilities
- Our Global Bridge Team is growing our Atlanta presence to deliver sustainable, resilient, and people-focused transportation solutions.
- The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of multi-discipline roadway and bridge projects, support client relationships, and collaborate with leadership on pursuits across TYLin's transportation sector
- Manage roadway and bridge engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope, budget, and schedule development.
- Oversee preparation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and highway projects.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff.
- Lead and support regional business development initiatives to expand TYLin's market presence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations.
- As such, we're seeking an accomplished Lead Project Manager to help grow our transportation and project delivery efforts, while contributing to the growth of our regional business.
- Lead proposal development efforts and contribute to strategic pursuits across TYLin's bridge and transportation teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in highway and/or bridge design and project management, with significant local project experience.
- Proven success delivering complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of AASHTO design standards.
- P.E. License required; Master's degree is preferred.
- Established relationships with regional engineering clients and public agencies.
- Strong technical judgment, stellar communication, and a collaborative mindset
