About the role
- We're looking for a Product Manager who wants to run the day-to-day of our Hedgerow product org.
- This is not a role for someone who wants a defined roadmap handed to them and a backlog to just execute against.
- You'll set the direction yourself and run the machinery that turns it into shipped work.
Responsibilities
- You'll work across the GovPilot ecosystem, GovTech, SDL, and Hedgerow, owning the roadmap and pushing the team to use AI well - both in how we build product and what we build.
- Own the product roadmap and prioritize based on customer needs, business goals, and technical tradeoffs
- Write clear specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from without guessing
- Design taste: a strong eye for UI/UX, and comfortable facilitating user testing to validate product decisions
- A lot of agency - you lead without waiting to be told, and adapt when the plan changes
Skills
- Strong opinions about AI and how it's changing product work, backed by hands-on experience using AI tools yourself
