CannonDesign is a design practice where strategy, experience, architecture, engineering, and social impact converge.

Independently develop basic to moderately complex construction documents and specifications of lighting and control systems. Work with junior staff to assign tasks on projects.
Understand integrated design and project deliverables, including deliverables associated with architecture, engineering, and related trades. Coordinate lighting documentation with associated trades.

Analyze lighting and engineering documents and layout systems in regards to components and parts.
Research and respond to design issues.

Must be willing to perform overtime work and be willing to travel.
Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering
or closely related degree.
Must have strong communication, teamwork and collaboration and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to engage effectively with teammates and clients.
Proficiency in graphic design and image editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).
Familiarity with Energy Analysis Software (Comcheck) and code-required documentation (ex: California Title-24 Energy Compliance).

LC/CLD credential, current registered member of IALD, IESNA or other professional lighting memberships preferred.
LEED AP, WELL, or other sustainable certification preferred.
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PPT required.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Teams, Trello, Procore + Miro preferred.

T he salary range for this position to be filled in the Boston, MA office is $84,800 to $106,000 annually.
