About the role
- Work with junior staff to assign tasks on projects.
- Participate in value engineering sessions with Architectural/Engineering team.
- Coordinate lighting documentation with associated trades.
Responsibilities

- Independently develop basic to moderately complex construction documents and specifications of lighting and control systems. Work with junior staff to assign tasks on projects.
- Understand integrated design and project deliverables, including deliverables associated with architecture, engineering, and related trades. Coordinate lighting documentation with associated trades.

- Analyze lighting and engineering documents and layout systems in regards to components and parts.
- Research and respond to design issues.
Requirements
- Must be willing to perform overtime work and be willing to travel.
- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- or closely related degree.
- Must have strong communication, teamwork and collaboration and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to engage effectively with teammates and clients.
- Proficiency in graphic design and image editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with Energy Analysis Software (Comcheck) and code-required documentation (ex: California Title-24 Energy Compliance).
Nice to have
- LC/CLD credential, current registered member of IALD, IESNA or other professional lighting memberships preferred.
- LEED AP, WELL, or other sustainable certification preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PPT required.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Teams, Trello, Procore + Miro preferred.
Compensation
- T he salary range for this position to be filled in the Boston, MA office is $84,800 to $106,000 annually.
