About the role
- This position works in conjunction with and under the direct supervision of the UM PCIT Clinical Director
- Duties and Responsibilities - shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
- 50% of the time involved in direct family outpatient therapy and psychoeducational evaluation services:
Responsibilities
- Monitors research outcomes and works with PCIT Therapists and faculty to maintain efficient participant recruitment strategies, data collection, and data analysis of hypothesized outcomes.
Requirements
- PhD/PsyD required
- No prior experience required
- Certification and Licensing:
Skills
- Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
- Participates in outpatient therapy and PCIT cases.
- Conducts psychoeducational evaluations of children and adolescents
- Provides consultation to other service providers that the family utilizes.
- Utilized behavioral assessment to improve treatment adherence
- Conducts intakes of families
- Provides referrals to appropriate community resources
- Other duties as assigned
- Participates in the writing and managing of extramural research funding
- Facilitates the preparation and submission of IRB protocols and manuscripts for publication.
