About the role

  • This position works in conjunction with and under the direct supervision of the UM PCIT Clinical Director
  • Duties and Responsibilities - shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • 50% of the time involved in direct family outpatient therapy and psychoeducational evaluation services:

Responsibilities

  • Monitors research outcomes and works with PCIT Therapists and faculty to maintain efficient participant recruitment strategies, data collection, and data analysis of hypothesized outcomes.

Requirements

  • PhD/PsyD required
  • No prior experience required

Skills

  • Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
  • Participates in outpatient therapy and PCIT cases.
  • Conducts psychoeducational evaluations of children and adolescents
  • Provides consultation to other service providers that the family utilizes.
  • Utilized behavioral assessment to improve treatment adherence
  • Conducts intakes of families
  • Provides referrals to appropriate community resources
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Participates in the writing and managing of extramural research funding
  • Facilitates the preparation and submission of IRB protocols and manuscripts for publication.
