Responsibilities
- Research and obtain deeds, plats, easements, right-of-way maps, and other records from county, state, and public sources to support survey projects.
- Organize and review title reports, legal descriptions, and property documents to prepare for survey field work.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files, research documents, and CAD standards.
- Assist in quality control by reviewing survey documents for accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Support scheduling of survey activities to align research, drafting, and field needs.
- Strong experience in property research through county/state records, title documents, and public databases.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in land surveying, drafting, or related research work.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar drafting/data processing software.
- ability to travel to courthouses, agencies, or job sites when required.
- Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field (preferred).
Nice to have
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Preferred Skills Familiarity with GIS and online county/state mapping portals.
