About the role

MIC provides turnkey facility integration solutions, including cleanroom and MEP construction, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, wastewater treatment, facility monitoring and control systems, installation, and maintenance services.
This role is responsible for leading field execution, subcontractor coordination, work planning, construction sequencing, productivity tracking, safety compliance, and quality oversight for mechanical scopes.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical construction supervision experience and practical knowledge of process piping, utility piping, HVAC, exhaust, mechanical systems, cleanroom construction, and industrial field execution.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily field construction activities for mechanical scopes across active project work areas.
Support field execution from initial installation through testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, turnover, and project closeout.
Coordinate practical solutions with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to maintain project momentum.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and trade partners to maintain project schedules, quality expectations, and work priorities.
Support resolution of trade-interface issues, routing conflicts, sequencing concerns, installation constraints, and work-area conflicts.
Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead plans for mechanical construction activities.
Support development and implementation of recovery plans, resequencing strategies, and corrective actions to address schedule impacts.

Requirements

Experience managing mechanical construction activities on industrial, semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, cleanroom, or similar projects.
Strong knowledge of process piping, utility piping, HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, mechanical systems, and related facility infrastructure.
Experience coordinating subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and multiple construction trades.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and field documentation.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, work planning, trade coordination, manpower management, and field execution.

Job Overview
Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an experienced and field-focused Superintendent - Mechanical Construction to oversee daily mechanical construction activities supporting semiconductor and high-tech facility projects in Phoenix, Arizona and Boise, Idaho.
This role is responsible for leading field execution, subcontractor coordination, work planning, construction sequencing, productivity tracking, safety compliance, and quality oversight for mechanical scopes. The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC personnel, EHS personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Coordinate mechanical installation activities involving process piping, utility piping, HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, equipment connections, and related facility systems.
Direct daily work priorities, subcontractor activities, manpower assignments, work-area access, material needs, and installation sequencing.
Ensure mechanical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with approved project schedules and construction plans.
Conduct regular field walks to monitor work progress, installation quality, jobsite conditions, safety compliance, and project readiness.
Identify work-area constraints, installation conflicts, incomplete work, access issues, material shortages, and field risks that could affect project progress.
Monitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, workmanship, schedule performance, material readiness, and compliance with project requirements.

Hold subcontractors accountable for assigned work, corrective actions, schedule commitments, housekeeping, and safety performance.
Coordinate mechanical work with electrical, process, structural, civil, cleanroom, controls, fire protection, and other project disciplines.
Review subcontractor work plans, look-ahead schedules, manpower plans, and daily activity reports.
Participate in subcontractor coordination meetings, daily huddles, weekly planning meetings, and project progress reviews.
Communicate field expectations, schedule needs, quality requirements, and safety priorities clearly to subcontractors and field personnel.
Coordinate construction sequencing, work packages, installation priorities, material deliveries, equipment access, and workforce needs.
Track mechanical construction progress against project schedules, milestones, work plans, and subcontractor commitments.
