About the role
- We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology organization.
- This role blends a traditional Business Analyst position with light Scrum Master responsibilities.
- You will work closely with finance, accounting, and supply chain stakeholders to make sure NetSuite initiatives are clearly defined and delivered without disruption.
Responsibilities
- Requirements and Documentation: Partner with finance, accounting, and supply chain stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Deliver development-ready scope quickly.
- Trusted Advisor: Serve as the in-house functional expert for NetSuite. Guide the business toward best-practice configurations and push back on requests that would create long-term complexity or technical debt.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Own several NetSuite initiatives at once.
- Delivery and Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a delivery partner to product owners and delivery teams.
- Lead initiatives that cross team boundaries and convene the right people early to align on scope.
- Agile Support: Facilitate or assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as needed to keep sprints on track.
- Data, Integrations, and Releases: Support data integrity work such as CSV imports and mass updates.
- Support planning around NetSuite's twice-yearly releases, including impact assessment and regression testing.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and traceability from business need through release.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting projects involving NetSuite or a comparable cloud ERP.
- Familiarity with NetSuite configuration concepts (roles and permissions, SuiteFlow, saved searches, SuiteAnalytics) and common integration patterns (SuiteTalk/REST, middleware such as MuleSoft).
- Ability to write clear, detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria quickly.
- Understanding of core ERP and accounting processes, including GL, AP/AR, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, revenue recognition, inventory, and multi-entity structures.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience on Agile or Scrum projects and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Oracle NetSuite certification such as SuiteFoundation, NetSuite Certified Administrator, or NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant.
- Experience supporting finance and accounting teams on NetSuite, including month-end close, AP/AR, and revenue processes.
- Experience in a high-growth or multi-entity environment where financial systems must scale quickly.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional standing and walking within the office
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies
- Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
Compensation
- Competitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses
Benefits
- Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office
- Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services
- Dental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care
- Time Off: Generous PTO and Holidays
- Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parents
- Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company match
- Stock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company's success
- Life and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage
