About the role
- We are hiring an investment associate to focus on the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
- As a "full stack" investor, you will be responsible for engaging across the investment lifecycle.
- This role will report to Talia Goldberg.
Responsibilities
- Thesis development - create and refine investment roadmaps to guide firm strategy, stay updated on industry developments.
- Sourcing - identify and build relationships with promising founders, teams, and startups. Embed yourself in the ecosystem.
- Investment recommendations - form judgements and present analyses and opinions to help drive investment decisions.
- Portfolio Support - assist portfolio companies with introductions, strategy, hiring, resources, and more. Attend board meetings.

Requirements
- No prior investing experience required.
Nice to have
- Ideally 2-4+ years of relevant professional experience in an operating role at a startup, as a founder, scientist, technologist, or investor.
- Independent thinker, fast learner

- Self-driven, proactive doer
- Commercial mindset, love thinking about businesses and technology
- Based in the Bay Area, in office 3 to 4+ days per week
- Professional experience: Ideally 2-4+ years of relevant professional experience in an operating role at a startup, as a founder, scientist, technologist, or investor.
- Exceptions will be considered for exceptional candidates.

Compensation
- Annual Performance Bonus
- $175,000-$225,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
