About the role
- Conduct testing using rougher flotation, gravity separation, or cyanide leaching techniques;
- Ensure all prepared and available samples are accounted for in the lab;
- Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality;
Responsibilities
- Maintain calibration & production logs and equipment records;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety requirements within the Safety Manual and communicate all safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager;

Requirements
- Recognized degree or technical diploma in Chemistry or Sciences required
- Wear issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves etc., when required
- Ability to stand for a full shift
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.
Nice to have
- Laboratory experience in a metallurgical, analytical chemistry or related field is preferred.
Skills
- Analytical and mechanical skills;
- English communication skills (written and verbal);
- Basic MS Office skills, specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
