About the role

Responsibilities

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale enterprise platform transformations and deliver complex, high-impact initiatives end-to-end
  • Deep understanding of system design, data modeling, and relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience building platforms that support AI use cases and data-driven decisioning
  • Founded in 2008, HHAeXchange was born out of an idea to create a fully comprehensive end-to-end homecare solution to help people who are aging or have disabilities thrive in their homes and communities.
  • We are seeking a deeply experienced engineering leader to join our R&D organization as Manager, Software Engineering and lead one or more engineering teams delivering AI-enabled platform capabilities for HHAeXchange.
  • You will lead a team of high-performing engineers and technical leads, driving modernization, bringing clarity to ambiguity, rigor to execution, and discipline to prioritization.
  • Experience building cross-platform data integration solutions and enterprise-scale platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong backend engineering background (Python,.NET, or Java) with proficiency in scalable REST APIs and distributed systems
  • Strong experience with identity and access management (OAuth2/OIDC) and secure system design principles
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience with tools like Jira or equivalent workflow systems
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern SDLC practices
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, translating problem statements into executable technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred), including microservices, serverless, and multi-cloud environments

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $150,000-167,000/yr, not including variable compensation.

  • Experience working in healthcare or regulated industries, including clinical or operational data environments
