About the role
- Pharmacists are responsible for duties including but not limited to: order entry, accurate dispensing of medications, renal dosing interventions, pharmacokinetic dosing, patient counseling, and supervising students and technicians
- Review orders for accuracy, dosage, safety, drug interactions, duplicate therapy and allergies
- Accurately verify and/or enter orders into Cerner
Responsibilities
- Perform Pharmacy calculations
- Maintain the sterile compounding area using appropriate cleaning protocols and documentation
- Perform functions using hospital computer systems ( e.g. Cerner, Meditech, Pyxis, etc.)
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited Pharmacy School with a PharmD degree.
Compensation
- $52k-$65k
