Responsibilities
- Maintains responsibility for the overall NDT program, implement/execute NDT processes, including Radiography (Computed and Digital), Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, and Visual, having a working knowledge of each technology and its strengths and limitations to ensure the proper inspection technique for the task
- Drive processes to continuously improve the business, enable the next generation manufacturing, and ensure compliance with all governing specifications, codes, and standards
- Develop and implement NDT method procedures and techniques
- Perform site assessments and support leadership in audits
- Research and implement new Inspection techniques and technologies to improve current processes and support next generation manufacturing processes
- Identify, drive, mentor, and implement projects that improve overall production quality
Requirements
- Knowledge of other NDT methods including Ultrasonics, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in an engineering or quality position)
- Experience with NADCAP and ISO
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality
- Ability to work independently
- Strong working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality operations
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with an organization at all levels
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a matrix environment with all levels of personnel
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks

Compensation
- a US Citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).
