About the role
- Under general supervision, independently analyzes blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for small to medium sized projects.
- Provides guidance, training, and direction for less experienced estimating staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop project take-offs and equipment counts based upon the specifications and drawings.
- Utilize technology such as BlueBeam, Accubid and LiveCount to perform and document electrical budgets.
- Provide support and training of estimating processes, procedures and systems for junior estimators, interns, and other team members as necessary.
- Contribute to and support value engineering exercises.

- Knowledge of structural, architectural and mechanical documents and their impact on electrical scope.
Requirements
- Create OneNote required documentation, qualifications, and exclusions.
- Knowledge of and experience with Accubid and LiveCount.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Compensation
- $90k-$135k

- Produce precise electrical estimates for various project types, including commercial, industrial, high-tech, and health care facilities, either independently or under the direction of a designated project lead.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
