About the role
- Join University of Miami Hillel as the Development and Operations Associate and be part of a team helping to enrich the lives of students and support the thriving Jewish life on campus.
- The Development and Operations Associate will report to the Director of Development and support the implementation of UM Hillel's development strategy and fundraising efforts by managing administrative processes related to donor communications, data management, and overall organizational operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Development in the execution of all development functions including fundraising, donor stewardship, database management, events, and administrative operations.
- Manage donor database entry and quality control. Ensure efficient, timely transfer of data from various systems to the database.
- Manage the UM Hillel website, GoFundMePro fundraising platform, Little Green Light donor management software system, and social media accounts.
- Manage gift acknowledgement letters and other donor relations correspondence.
- Coordinate and manage students interns to make donor thank you and lapsed donor calls.
- Support evaluation and analysis of donor campaigns for internal and external reporting.
- Support the overall operations of the organization by coordinating administrative systems, maintaining office resources, managing organizational logistics, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for staff, students, and visitors.
- Maintain calendars and scheduling for organization-wide and staff-wide events
- Hillel endeavors to create a pluralistic, welcoming, and inclusive environment to foster student growth while inspiring students to be dedicated to Jewish life, culture, values, and peoplehood.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
Nice to have
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, donor management software (Little Green Light preferred), and prospect research tools
Skills
- Assist the Director of Development and Executive Director with donor communications and marketing.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Development.
Compensation
- Support annual campaigns and events including grassroots appeals and major fundraising events.
- Competitive salary in the non-profit marketplace.
- The salary range for this full-time role is $45,000 - $55,000
