About the role

  • The Production Supervisor II is accountable for maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to quality standards, and is responsible for meeting customer demand schedules within established cost goals.
  • Supervision may include the management of employees on more than one shift.

Responsibilities

  • You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with prime OEMs and help us develop state-of-the art solutions - all in a family-first community with top-rated schools and an abundance of recreational activities.
  • Provide input to and collaborate with Engineering and Quality to define and modify manufacturing instructions
  • Use standard supply chain processes and partner with the Supply Chain team to develop material replenishment system for the manufacturing areas
  • Ensure timely identification and processing of non‑conforming materials to manage scrap, rework, and overall product quality.
  • Oversee daily resource allocation to meet production schedules and customer requirements; make staffing decisions aligned with HR procedures to support business needs.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor employees through performance planning to drive team capability and business growth.
  • We employ Lean manufacturing techniques to optimize manufacturing efficiency and accuracy on all product lines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of cellular manufacturing practices
  • Partner with Value Stream Managers to deliver required reporting to senior leadership and ensure cross‑functional alignment across product lines and functional areas.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience

Nice to have

  • BA or BS degree in Operations Management
  • Previous Aerospace or Electronics manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with web based software
  • Working Conditions:
  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
  • May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
  • Standing: 25% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

  • Provide inputs for resource planning, overtime forecasting, and productivity improvements to support monthly and annual budgeting processes.
