About the role
- Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.
- The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound material movements at ABTC's recycling facility and offsite warehouse.
- This role ensures accurate receipt of materials against purchase orders, timely staging and shipment of outbound product, and precise documentation within SAP and OpenDock systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead a culture of safety compliance, especially regarding loading, unloading, and material handling equipment.
- Create and manage outbound deliveries within SAP for all outbound shipments.
- Update and manage appointment statuses within OpenDock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
- Willingness to contribute at all levels of the organization and support cross-functional operations.
Requirements
- Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals for extended periods.
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
- Ability to walk throughout the plant and warehouse facilities.
- Ability to bend at the waist and reach overhead.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. as required.
- Ability to wear PPE, including but not limited to eye and face protection, hearing protection, respirators, and protective shoes or shoe coverings.
- Upload, maintain, and verify all required appointment documentation in OpenDock, including BOLs, packing lists, seal numbers, and photos.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
