About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with witj 10+ years of experience with strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern backend frameworks such as Fastify or Express. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and platform-level backend systems. You will build and optimize RESTful APIs, API
gateways, service orchestration, and rate-limiting solutions. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows is essential. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with serverless technologies, including AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
You will ensure platform reliability through observability, telemetry, logging, and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
A strong understanding of backend security, authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices is required.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and modern cloud-native architectures is a plus.
Familiarity with AI platform concepts, including MCP and RAG, and a passion for developer productivity and internal platform engineering are advantageous.
