Responsibilities

Requirements

- Bachelors in an engineering discipline (MS/PhD preferred) with 3+ years of experience in automotive, robotics, or a related industry. - Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions. - Proven experience in systems engineering, verification and validation (V&V), and working with requirements and metrics. - Knowledge of the typical autonomous vehicle stack. - Experience in verification of complex systems. - Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics and basic understanding of vehicle dynamics. - Strong software development skills (Python, C++, or Rust) with proficiency in data analysis and statistics. - Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions Bonus/nice to have: - Experience developing and launching products in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industries. - Experience with high-fidelity simulation systems. - Experience building software systems from scratch.
- The US yearly salary range for this role is: $133,650 - $222,000 USD and the Canada salary range for this role is: $154,289 - $220,000 CAD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi US Inc. and Waabi Canada Inc.'s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company's compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US and Canada locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including discretionary equity incentive awards and discretionary annual performance bonus.
