About the role
- The Order Fulfillment Processor operates powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, high lifts, and internal combustion or electric-powered equipment.
- Pull customer orders accurately according to pick lists.
- Verify that pallets, crates and boxes are accurately labeled and properly identified before shipment.
Responsibilities
- Follow 6S standards, company policies, and safety procedures to support an efficient and compliant workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping floors and removing debris.
Requirements
- 1+ year forklift operating experience required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of material hazards and the ability to understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Ability to band and secure pallets for shipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine and battery hoist.
- Ability to read and understand work orders.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT- Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
- Ability to stop production and/or prevent the shipment of nonconforming or potentially nonconforming products to customers.
- Ability to operate scan guns for material movements, inventory transactions and location verification.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
