About the role

This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting bindery equipment to ensure printed materials are finished accurately, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with machine operation experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production flow
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail throughout each job
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to work 3rd shift
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, turn, kneel, stoop, crouch, and occasionally push or pull up to 50 lbs
The ideal candidate has experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment and is mechanically inclined, dependable, and quality-focused.

Set up and operate digital bindery and finishing equipment
Monitor equipment throughout production to ensure machines are running properly
Review job instructions, measurements, and production specifications
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshoot minor machine or quality issues to keep production moving
Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
