  • The Technician will work directly with our Utility Client's diverse, multi-lingual customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

  • Be a professional and enjoy customer service!
  • Climb ladders up to 10' and lift / carry 50 lbs.
  • Conduct installation of basic residential energy efficiency upgrades - training provided.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications - training provided.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
  • Show experience or interest and ability to learn about home construction and HVAC equipment to be an effective educator on the topic.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory.

Compensation

  • Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Company info

  • To join our team as an Energy Efficiency Technician!
  • You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers.
  • You would be educating power utility customers on Energy Waste Reduction.
  • Install basic energy-efficient equipment, and inspect customers homes for insulation, air sealing, HVAC equipment and make recommendations for saving energy and money!
