Responsibilities
- Essential Duties The Unarmed Safety Officer may be expected to: • Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift • Stand, walk, patrol, and remain visible for extended periods • Work indoors and outdoors in varying environments and weather conditions • Respond quickly to emergencies and critical incidents • Maintain control of sensitive situations while making sound operational decisions • Follow all post orders, supervisor instructions, reporting requirements, and agency standards • Accept reassignment, shift changes, site changes, or schedule adjustments based on business need, operational need, and client need 4.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong situational awareness and threat recognition • Professional judgment and decision making under pressure • Ability to maintain calm demeanor in tense or uncertain situations • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to observe, remember, and accurately document events • Ability to follow direction, remain accountable, and operate within policy • Ability to manage conflict respectfully and lawfully • Strong professionalism, punctuality, and reliability 6.
Requirements
- Verify credentials, permissions, visitor status, deliveries, or entry authorization as required by the assignment
- Prepare clear, accurate, timely, and objective incident reports, daily activity reports, patrol logs, witness statements, and other required documentation

- 4.1 Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
