About the role
- As a Linehaul Driver, you will transport freight between Southeastern's Service Center or designated points in-between.
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas and in all types of weather conditions.
- When hauling hazardous material, verify the hazardous material product description, determine any discrepancies in the paperwork, and verify proper placarding.
Requirements
- you to be at least 21 years old
- the ability to satisfactorily pass background check and alcohol and drug test
- the mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, and maintenance log
- the ability to meet DOT regulations and guidelines pertaining to the physical qualifications for commercial drivers
