Responsibilities
- Develop Category Strategy
- Develop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned with Bose's global supply chain objectives.
- Build strategic sourcing roadmaps that balance cost optimization, operational performance, supplier innovation, sustainability, and risk management.
- Partner with business leaders to understand evolving priorities and translate them into procurement strategies that deliver measurable value.
- Lead Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Negotiations
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives across global transportation and logistics categories, including Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Parcel, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Warehousing & Distribution, Over-the-Road Transportation (TL/LTL/Intermodal), and Reverse Logistics.
- Develop sourcing strategies, manage RFIs/RFPs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial agreements, and oversee contract execution.
- Drive total value optimization through competitive sourcing, supplier consolidation, commercial negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build Strategic Supplier Partnerships
- Develop executive-level relationships with strategic logistics providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Strong understanding of transportation and logistics categories, including ocean, air, parcel, 3PL, warehousing, and over-the-road transportation.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, operates with a high degree of ownership, and consistently delivers results with minimal oversight.
Nice to have
- Experience managing global transportation or logistics categories within a multinational manufacturing or consumer products organization.
- Experience with strategic supplier relationship management and executive supplier governance.
- Experience with SAP and/or SAP Ariba.
- Experience working in consumer electronics or technology industries.
