About the role

- As a Logistics Specialist II, you will take on a more advanced role in coordinating and managing logistics activities.
- You will oversee the preparation, documentation, and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the shipping and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and analyze records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
- Optimize the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- In-depth knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.
- Experience with inventory databases.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.
- HazMat Training/Certification.
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.
- Understanding of shelf life.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
- Ability to work in a loud environment.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
