About the role

  • The CVD Parts Conductor is responsible for the budget and spending of the CVD department, ensuring the fab has the necessary hardware and consumables to run without overspending.
  • Conductor will handle the daily tracking of spares and repairs and work with Finance and Engineering to secure funding.
  • Conductor will analyze spending trends and present cost reports to leadership to ensure we hit our KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and create cost-saving projects to reduce departmental spend.
  • Manage parts related items in engineering test plans.
  • Manage in-fab storage and consumables inventory.
  • Build better systems to streamline cost tracking and material flow.

Skills

  • Has substantial understanding on the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Normally receives little instruction on everyday work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments
  • Typically requires a minimum 3 years of related experience since TB1
