About the role

  • We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
  • Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
  • Maintain areas of the store, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, to company standards
  • Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates

Requirements

  • Incumbents will follow any other instructions and perform any other related duties as may be required by their supervisor.

Skills

  • Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required
