About the role

First Responder Protective Services is seeking retired or former local, state, or federal law enforcement officers, as well as retired military personnel with valid HR-218 credentials, for the role of Cargo Escort Agent.
The primary duty of this position is to to follow our client's tractor-trailers out of DFW area on long and short-term hauls across the continental USA, ensuring that the vehicle and its load arrives safely at their destinations.
When traveling long distances, agents work in teams of at least two, and are provided a vehicle and equipment to follow the load.

Credentials must be made available for review.
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
Favorable driving history with a valid driver's license Texas Driver's license, or ability to get one prior to employment Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to travel on short notice within 12-24 hours notice.
Ability to fly on commercial airlines Ability to sleep in unusual time periods, remain alert during escorts, and no complacency tendencies.
MUST HAVE GOOD FLEXIBILITY, great attitude, and want to pick up escorts as they are available.

Flexible schedule $35 per hour - W2 work / OT starts after 40 hours in same work week Minimum Qualifications: Prior ERT, military, law enforcement WITH valid / active HR 218 / L.E.O.S.A. Credentials.

Honorably Retired Law Enforcement with HR-218/L.E.O.S.A Credentials Required Current openings are for part time agents, allowing for a flexible schedule, with the opportunity to become full-time in the future.
Most escorts ONLY have 12-48 hours notice, prior to departure time Majority of escorts go out Monday-Thursday, and generally leave overnight.
