About the role

  • The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University invites applications for a part-time faculty of music in Applied Piano and Organ with supplemental pay as collaborative pianist.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in piano and organ performance including collaborative piano and organ experience and expertise in piano and organ pedagogy within diverse genres of classical & contemporary music.
  • A bachelor's degree in music with piano or organ as a primary instrument is required.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Music
  • Bachelor of Music in Performance
  • Bachelor of Music in Worship Leadership
  • Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music
  • Professional experience in piano and organ performance including collaborative piano and organ experience and expertise in piano and organ pedagogy within diverse genres of classical & contemporary music. Candidates should demonstrate strong musicianship and a successful record of teaching at the collegiate level is preferred. A doctorate or master's degree in music is preferred. A bachelor's degree in music with piano or organ as a primary instrument is required.

Each of the three departments within the South Carolina School of the Arts are fully accredited by their respective national accrediting agencies (NASM, NASAD, and NAST).
