About the role

  • The Estimator will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and development of detailed cost estimates for utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on wind projects.
  • This role requires demonstrated experience in estimating utility-scale wind projects (100 MW+).
  • This position is also anticipated to participate in utility-scale solar estimates and supporting preconstruction activities including: budgeting, scheduling, client management, vendor qualification and management, and procurement coordination.

Responsibilities

  • The Estimator will collaborate with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to assess contractor and labor needs, analyze project profitability, and prepare pricing proposals specifically for utility-scale wind projects.
  • This position will leverage Quanta's Renewable Energy Platform (QREP) to drive consistency and profitability across all QCR projects while leading the estimation processes for high-impact wind energy projects.

Requirements

  • Travel to project sites will be required for proposal development and throughout project execution.
