About the role

  • The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with Speer's leadership team to oversee financial strategy, planning, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial decision-making.
  • This is a senior leadership role for a finance professional with experience supporting growing service-based, technology, consulting, or professional services businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cash Flow Management: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to help Speer anticipate financial needs, manage resources effectively, and support informed business decisions.
  • Pricing and Profitability: Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, project budgeting, and profitability reviews for client engagements, proposals, retainers, and long-term partnerships.
  • Team and Process Development: Support the continued development of Speer's finance function by improving systems, reporting structures, internal controls, and operational processes as the company scales.
  • The Chief Financial Officer will play an important role in helping Speer strengthen its financial foundation, support sustainable growth, and make strategic decisions with greater financial clarity.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to help Speer anticipate financial needs, manage resources effectively, and support informed business decisions.
  • Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, project budgeting, and profitability reviews for client engagements, proposals, retainers, and long-term partnerships.
  • Support the continued development of Speer's finance function by improving systems, reporting structures, internal controls, and operational processes as the company scales.

Compensation

  • $90k-$150k
