About the role
- University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced transformative leader to fill the key role of Manager of Professional Practice.
- The temporary assignment is aligned with Altum, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Imaging, and our Discipline Head structure.
- The role focuses on the integration of care, patient safety and quality; and the use of technology to enable care, teaching and research.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other site DPPs, MPPs, other practice and operations leaders to ensure that practice standards are aligned and integrated, where possible, across programs, and organization wide
- Lead service and program and select corporate initiatives based on the current and evolving patient care and practice standards
Requirements
- This may evolve as required with department or UHN evolutions.
- Completion of Master's Degree
- A minimum of 8 years practical and related experience
- A minimum of 5 years demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- Ability to think strategically at the global organizational level, as well as at the program, site, unit and individual levels
- Broad knowledge of overall hospital structure, operating policies and decision-making processes
- Excellent knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices
Nice to have
- Cross appointment with a UHN affiliated College or University preferred
- Project Management experience preferred

Compensation
- $56k-$84k
