Responsibilities
- Develop and manage supply chain strategies that support operational and business objectives.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Partner with production, engineering, project management, and operations to forecast material demand.
- Develop ERP system beyond current functionality.
- Analyze supply chain data and develop reporting around inventory turns, delivery performance, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements across supply chain functions.
- Lead supplier negotiations related to pricing, delivery schedules, contracts, and service expectations.
- Manage supply chain risk through contingency planning and supplier diversification.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate team members while ensuring operational continuity.
- This is an opportunity to lead a critical function in a manufacturing environment where accuracy, process improvement, operational discipline, and strong decision-making make a measurable difference.
Nice to have
- High school diploma required
- bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehouse, or inventory management preferred.
- Leadership and direct people management experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- ERP experience required
- Epicor experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
