About the role

  • Voyager Technologies is seeking an Energetics Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in the energetics and rocket propulsion manufacturing areas.
  • This role ensures that all operations involving energetic materials, propellant formulation, component assembly, and testing are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with internal quality systems and safety regulations.
  • In this role, the essential functions are:

Responsibilities

  • Track and report key performance indicators (scrap, throughput, downtime, rework) and lead corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Participate in and lead 5S, lean, or continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Support audits and customer visits and uphold company policies, procedures, and values on the production floor.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of energetic material handling and hazardous production operations.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing and documentation systems (ERP, MES, or traveler systems).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process flow documentation.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Applicants must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Nice to have

  • In-depth knowledge of energetic material handling, rocket motor assembly, and hazardous production operations..
  • Experience with automated manufacturing systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and six sigma methodologies.
  • Supervisory Responsibility
  • Direct daily activities of Operators and Technicians in assigned work areas.
  • Train personnel in operating procedures, safety protocols, and technical tasks.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and recommend advancement, corrective action, or additional training as needed.

Compensation

  • Colorado pay range
  • $85,000 - $120,000 USD
  • The good faith base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $120,000 at the time of this posting.
