- Many structural heart patients suffer from heart failure with limited options.
- Our Implantable Heart Failure Management (IHFM) team is at the forefront of addressing these unmet patient needs through pioneering technology that enables early, targeted therapeutic intervention.

Responsibilities
- Drive business development workstreams in close partnership with Corporate Development and Exploration teams, including technology landscapes, diligence, and partnership or investment strategies.
- Partner with the CVP and Leadership Team on strategic communications to internal and external audiences.
- Own the Key Operating Driver (KOD) process for IHFM to identify, define, and track critical initiatives across R&D, commercial, and operational programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
- Expert understanding and interpretation of complicated market dynamics with the ability to identify and quantify market potential, and build business case with both business and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate value to the business.
- Ability to listen to stakeholders, discover unmet needs, develop strong rapport with audience, and be customer-focused.
- Ability to develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions.
- Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or quantitative field and 12 years of direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing based on Edwards criteria
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in a scientific, technical, or quantitative field and 10 years of direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing based on Edwards criteria.

- Direct the annual strategic planning process for the IHFM business, including internal workshops, executive presentation development, and financial modeling.
