As our new Early Career Acoustics Consultant/Engineer, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.

Conduct acoustic and vibration measurements, analyze data, and develop modelling predictions.
Review acoustic design of buildings.
Support the development of new models, tools, and analytical methods.
Maintain positive, professional communication with clients, and regulators.
Contribute to SLR's strong industry reputation through excellent delivery and relationship building.
Support business development efforts, including preparing proposals, gathering project information, and assisting senior staff in client engagements.

Degree or technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, physics, or related studies.
Experience (co op, internship, or early career) in acoustics, noise, and vibration is considered an asset.
Experience with acoustic modelling tools (e.g., Insul, CadnaA, CATT, Odeon, EASE, SAP2000, Visual Basic, MATLAB or Python for signal processing) is an asset.
Knowledge of provincial, local, and industry specific regulations and guidelines.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel periodically to job sites.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. Final agreed-upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
