About the role

- In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB, enabling effective IT service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Drive data quality improvements, including CI de-duplication and compliance validation.
- Perform verification and audit activities to ensure CMDB data changes are authorised and accurate.
- Maintain and regularly review process, procedure, and work instruction documentation.
- Support Continual Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.
- Collaborate with other Service Management processes (e.g. Change Management) to ensure SCM policies are followed.
- Deliver training and provide process mentorship to colleagues.
- Able to successfully establish relationships and collaborate with a range of partners.

Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience managing and maintaining a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within an enterprise IT environment.
- Demonstrable experience in Configuration Management processes, including CI lifecycle management, CMDB governance, data quality controls, audits, reconciliations, and data remediation activities.
- Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB, including Configuration Item (CI) relationships, data ownership, and CMDB governance practices.
- Experience using ServiceNow.
- Previous experience in an IT Service Management environment.
