About the role

  • You empower the world to invest fearlessly by translating some of the most complex areas of financial planning into software that advisors and their clients actually love to use.
  • Translates inherently complex planning concepts into product experiences that feel simple and intuitive to advisors and end clients.
  • Represents Nitrogen externally as a domain authority - in customer conversations, on conference stages, in podcasts, written content, and media interviews.

Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to ensure products ship on predictable cadence and land successfully in market.
  • Defines and tracks success metrics for each product area and uses them to drive continuous improvement.
  • Since launching Riskalyze in 2011, we've been on a mission to create what we call Catalyst Moments - those powerful instances when an advisor leads a client from confused and fearful to confident and fearless.
  • Drives the full product lifecycle - conceptualization, prioritization, execution, go-to-market collaboration, and post-launch iteration - across these product areas.

Requirements

  • You have expert-level fluency in how insurance is manufactured, distributed, and compensated - carrier economics, distribution channels, and compensation structures.
  • Inside knowledge of how insurance and annuities are actually built, sold, and compensated.
  • Working knowledge of tax and estate/legacy planning concepts, with the ability to translate estate planning and wealth-transfer considerations into sound product decisions.
  • Proven ability to translate inherently complex planning concepts into product experiences that feel simple and intuitive.

Nice to have

  • CFP certification or an equivalent tax/estate credential is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

  • $150k-$170k
