About the role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning and coordination of commissioning activities, working closely with project managers, design engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that commissioning activities are properly scheduled and executed.
  • Verify that mechanical systems and equipment are installed according to design specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Installation Verification: Verify that mechanical systems and equipment are installed according to design specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Functional Testing: Perform functional tests on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they operate as intended.
  • Documentation: Document all aspects of the commissioning process, including test procedures, test results, equipment specifications, and any modifications or adjustments made during commissioning.
  • Perform a Daily report on site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of CAD, Bluebeam, and others
  • Ability to work directly on site, and ability to travel required 75%
  • Travel required to different sites.
  • 75% of travel required.
  • Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator when required.
