Responsibilities
- The Virtual Construction Manager leads the strategic, managerial, and coordination aspects of BIM and Virtual Construction (VC) across multiple projects.
- This role bridges executive project management, BIM strategy, and construction delivery, ensuring digital workflows directly support schedule, cost, risk mitigation, and field execution.
- Impacts own team, adjacent teams, and teams company-wide
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- Proven experience managing people, BIM trade coordination workflows, and deliverables on complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to establish and enforce standards and QA/QC processes
- Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to guide tool selection and workflow decisions
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Ability to connect technical data to business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to oversee model-based coordination milestones to field activities
