About the role

Trane Technologies is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II in Hastings, NE.
In this role, you will coordinate, organize and supervise production process methods and engineering activities that enable production.
This includes sustaining engineering, new product launch processes and continuous improvement activities.

Drives engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training and project reviews including: PFMEA, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Dynamic Control Plans (DCP), Lean Tools, Project Management and Simultaneous Engineering
Manages, develops and improves manufacturing standards including: machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.
The position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plans which improve operations competitiveness.

3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred. Candidates with 3-5 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
Ability to quickly assess manufacturing issues related to design and tolerancing
Knowledge of basic design and manufacturing datum development and its effect in manufacturing processes
