About the role

  • This role defines insights relevant to Visa stakeholders and curates data, using statistical analysis and tools to interpret and analyze information to generate actionable insights.
  • The consultant publishes insights in accessible formats for internal and external stakeholders and advocates for data-driven decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver actionable insights by turning large volumes of data into business value for Visa clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and enhance reporting solutions, ensuring a single source of truth for insights and facts.
  • Develop and deploy automated processes for insight delivery, including self-serve functionality for leaders at corridor, market, and region levels.
  • Lead client-facing initiatives and consulting projects to optimize authorization performance, utilizing subject matter expertise in the Auth space.
  • Build and maintain management reporting dashboards and scorecards, establishing a cadence of reporting across executive stakeholders.
  • Data & Insights Consultant is responsible for providing data, reporting, and advanced insights to enable service design, process evaluation, strategic planning, and business management decisions.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
  • Experience in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI).
  • Experience in analytics with a focus on data visualization.
  • Experience working in big data environments.
  • Experience working in an Agile or fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts such as Star Schemas/Snowflake.
  • Foundational knowledge of probability and statistics.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $127,300 to $216,100 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
