About the role
- Assists with the education of technologist, Radiologist Assistant students, and residents.
- Obtains and reviews patient clinical history prior to any procedure.
- Assists the attending Radiologist with procedures as requested.
Responsibilities
- In a collaborative and multidisciplinary/modality environment, support the Attending Radiologist and fellows in the provision of patient care in the procedure room, clinic and on the patient floors.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited RA program with an MS in Health Science.
- ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant.
- New York State Department of Health licensure (Radiologic Technologist and Specialist Assistant license required)
- BLS/ACLS certification.
