About the role

  • Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples
  • Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
  • Document treatments, activities, and observations.
  • Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, bowls, litter boxes, kennels, and cages.
  • Change and replace soiled bedding and manage laundry tasks.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in animal housing, food preparation, and laundry areas.
  • Earn $1,000 when you refer a new team member to one of our 180+ partner hospitals across the country.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of veterinary experience is required.
  • Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
  • Must be fine working as a dual role between veterinary assistant and a kennel attendant.
  • Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.
