About the role
- ITnova is seeking a skilled H-1 A ircraft Mechanic (Flight Line) to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. This position is responsible for performing flight line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to aircraft systems and components to ensure aircraft safety,
- reliability, and mission readiness. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with rotary-wing aircraft maintenance, a strong understanding of fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance support in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine aircraft maintenance functions.
- Maintains aircraft fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems.
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems.
- Performs troubleshooting, repair, modification, corrosion control, and preservation of aircraft and aircraft subsystems, including fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience.
- Must be skill-qualified in a primary MOS from OccFld 611X or 617X Aircraft Maintenance, an equivalent skill designation from another service, or possess valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- Must demonstrate operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines, and component parts.
- Must have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
- Must be able to read and write, interpret, and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, directives, guides, and forms used on the job.
- Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA within 60 days after assignment.
- Must be able to meet any Government and company licensing or qualification requirements for the position.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required industrial security clearance level for the position.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
